James Herriot Room

Our spacious James Herriot room is our largest event space, offering plenty of natural light through its windows and direct access to our beautiful terrace. The room can be arranged as one long boardroom table or as several smaller round tables, providing the flexibility to suit your needs. The decor is neutral, with a pop of color from the chairs, ensuring a stylish and professional setting for any occasion, whether it’s a celebration, meeting, networking event or seminar.

The Champagne Room 

Our intimate and versatile room, aptly named ‘Champagne Bar’, offers a spacious setting suitable for a variety of occasions. With a dedicated bar area, it’s perfect for pre-arrival drinks, networking, small meetings and intimate dinners. The room is also ideal as a breakout space for guests to meet and mingle pre, during and post your event.

The Tasting Room 

The Tasting Room, featuring beautiful wood paneling, exudes an intimate and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for smaller board meetings or intimate gatherings. Its name suggests the perfect setting for enjoying an array of great food and indulging in those special moments you want to share with only a few. Located at the end of the bar area and with direct access from the kitchen, this room offers a luxurious dining experience in the privacy of your own private dining room.

Organising a special event always stresses me out, but this time it was a breeze! All thanks to your incredible team at The Black Bull. To be able to relax and enjoy the day made it all the more special. Your chef was amazing, creating our perfect menu and the front of house team could not have done enough, all of them so friendly and helpful – even with our fussiest of eaters! Thanks for making our anniversary celebration so wonderful.
